Easy DIY Aquaponics Project Week 5

Coming to a finish of a deteriorate in October. Plants were planted late (August 1) as well as will not have sufficient time to produce vegetables. This does however infer a judgment as well as pattern as distant as it could go in a season. As a side-note, partial of a reason for a plants losing leaves is a pH turn of a water. Tests showed a tall pH (7.6 to 8.0) as well as a H2O will subsequently be treated with colour over a subsequent couple of days by regulating tiny doses of poison with H2O changes. This will be finished solemnly so which it won’t startle a fish. we haven’t been gripping up with a upkeep :(

I have a greenhouse going up and seedlings are planted. I’m also adding another 12″ grow? bed and converting this bed to use the deep water culture method. More videos soon.

  • easydiyaquaponics:

You are correct that? aquaponics systems don’t have seasons. In the video I was referring to the coming winter. Those who live in tropical zones can grow year round.

I’ve been In aqua phonics for ten years and? never had much luck with squash, melons etc. because of the disease I see on your plants. Notice the spots on the leaves. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it has nailed me every time I’ve tried to grow them

@Grindaponics. I chose hydroton for my grow bed media specifically because? it is pH neutral. The spike in pH is probably due to the system beginning the nitrogen cycle.

Could it be the Rocks you have in the Tank that keeps spiking the? PH levels too High?
